The Egg Nutrition Center (ENC) provides a wealth of information
on its website, www.ENC-online.org. This site is for egg lovers, egg producers
and processors, nutritionists and health care providers, and anyone who
wants to learn more about eggs and good nutrition.

Elementary Schools
The University of Arizona, Agricultural Cooperative Extension office renewed
their commitment to read If It Weren't for Farmers by Allan Fowler to
public and private school students and to donate copies of the book to
participating schools.

High Schools
Brooke Walters, Culinary Instructor at Wickenburg High School, customized
our program to fit all the components of the presentation into her 55-minute
classes. During the introduction, Sharman Hickman-Silva demonstrates how
to make a 2-minute omelet. Students answer survey questions about their
personal breakfast habits, and learn the importance of breakfast. The
economical aspects and basic recipes are also explored.
Colleges
Chef Jon Hill at Estrella Mountain Community college offers a lecture
session.
Chef Gayle Haro of Central Arizona Lifetime Learners (CALL) class offers
a 4-hour lab. Chef Gayle urges her pupils to participate in every facet
of the "Egg Moves Around the Plate," presentation. Students
prepare appetizers, main entrees, desserts, and 2-minute omelets.
