St. Mary’s receives special delivery

St. Mary’s Food Bank received a special delivery of 100,000 Hickman’s eggs just in time for Easter. The donation was made possible by America’s Egg Farmers in partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts. During the first week of March, they teamed up to donate one egg to Feeding America for every Eggs Benedict Breakfast Sandwich sold. As a result of this effort, St. Mary’s Food Bank is one of eight food banks across the country receiving a large donation of eggs.

Second Annual Governor’s Easter Egg Roll – Easter 2012

Arizona’s 2nd Annual Governor’s Easter Egg Roll was held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park. Gov. Jan Brewer welcomed the crowd and started the race. The event echoed the White House’s healthy and active theme, and included yoga and healthy eating classes among the activities.
