Hello Mrs. Silva,
The eggs were in flats, so my student teacher, Miss Williams and I brainstormed the best ways to get the eggs home. Our best idea, for immediate distribution, was to have each student pack them in paper bags, then [the next day] we sent the second dozen home with the students.
This has been VERY well received, and everyone loved, loved, loved the eggs for snacks. I had never heard of serving eggs with ranch dressing and bacon pieces. Tia [Silva] encouraged everyone to try this combination, and almost the entire class did and also devoured them.
I’m making another batch of boiled eggs here at school, as I type so that we can peel and eat our eggs, today.
