Dear Mrs. Richardson and Peoria High School Culinary Students:
Please accept our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the hard work that you and your students did to provide an “eggs-quisite” food experience and delightful evening at the Third Annual Hall of Farming Fame Dinner on Saturday, February 27, 2010.
Your students left the kitchen with professionalism, poise, and an eagerness to serve our guests that we have never experienced. The farmers inducted deserve the very best, and your students delivered that. I heard several comments about how tender the meat was. My mom said the asparagus was absolutely perfect! It was also obvious that several return trips were made to the dessert table.
The creativity behind the cake was outstanding. It was amazing to see how passionate your students were when entering their preparation areas, especially the potato and cake areas.
When the Shamrock Foods representatives arrived after the salad had been cleared, your students were so very gracious to provide a “sampling” plate full of your delicious appetizers. Both Shamrock representatives sought me out to tell me how tasty they appetizers were.
As a third generation Arizona Farmer, it was very heart-warming to know that our future culinary artists took the donations from Arizona’s farmers and created a masterpiece.
I think you and your students are Grade AA — the highest quality award an egg can get!
Kind regards,
Sharman Hickman
